In this project, a digital technology approach was used to represent the calligraphy and painting selected from an ancient book.

1 The original painting of an ancient book
The original picture shows that a lady is playing the violin while leaning against a tree at the park in the Republic of China. In this project, we use a digital technology approach to represent the calligraphy and painting we selected from an ancient book. The technology does this by creating motions, adding colors, sounds, and other elements to the static, black and white picture; making the scene in this piece of art vividly presented.

2 Multi-media
The technology does this by creating motions, adding colours, sounds and other elements to the static, black and white picture; making the scene in this piece of art vividly presented. Firstly, hand-painters coloured black and white sketches into a coloured painting by researching a large of garment materials of the Republic of ChinaThen, the team brainstorms to study the beauty’s posture and the scene in the painting.

3dynamic painting
By adding local action and scene animation to make the painting alive, the artworks will be transformed into two-dimensional animation, accompanied by music and dubbing. Finally, through the development of U3D software and integration of high-definition projection, Xbox game somatosensory device and AR augmented reality application system, it will be completed.
